Getting started

How do I connect to my new server?

After you order, your server is provisioned in a couple of minutes and you'll get an IP address and port in your panel. In the game, add a server using that IP:port (for Minecraft, just the IP if it's on the default port). If you can't connect, first check the server is marked Running in your panel, then confirm you copied the port correctly — a wrong port is the number-one cause of "can't connect".

Where do I manage my server?

Everything — start/stop/restart, files, console, backups — lives in your control panel. You get the login when your service is set up. The console tab shows live server output, which is the first place to look when something misbehaves.

How long until my server is ready?

Normally two to three minutes after payment clears. If capacity is momentarily unavailable in your chosen location we'll tell you honestly rather than leave you waiting — and refund you in full if we can't deliver.

Mods, plugins & config

How do I install mods or plugins?

Upload them through the file manager in your panel (or SFTP), into the folder your game expects — mods/ for Forge/Fabric Minecraft, plugins/ for Paper, oxide/plugins/ for Rust uMod, and so on. Restart the server afterwards so it loads them. If a mod needs a specific game version, set that version before uploading.

My modpack won't start — what do I check?

Open the console and read the last 30–40 lines — a crashed modpack almost always names the culprit mod or a missing dependency. The usual causes: a mod built for a different game version, two mods that conflict, or not enough RAM for the pack. Heavier packs need the 8 GB tier or above; trying to run a 200-mod pack on 4 GB will just crash on load.

Can you install mods for me?

We support the service we provide — getting the server running, performance, backups. We don't manage third-party mod configs for you, but we'll happily point you in the right direction if you're stuck, and the console output usually tells us both what's wrong.

Performance & lag

My server is lagging. What can I do?

First check whether it's server lag or your connection: in Minecraft the console shows "Can't keep up!" when the server itself is struggling. Common fixes: reduce view/simulation distance, cut back on always-loaded chunks or entity-heavy farms, and make sure your plan's RAM matches your player count and mod load. If you've outgrown your tier, upgrading is instant and we'll tell you honestly whether it'll actually help.

How many players can my plan handle?

It depends far more on mods than on raw player count. A vanilla Minecraft or Valheim world runs a small community comfortably on the starter tier; a heavy modpack or a busy Rust wipe wants the 8 GB tier or the performance tier. Tell us your game and your mod list and we'll give you a straight answer, not an upsell.

Backups & data

Are backups automatic?

You are responsible for your own backups — this is in our terms, and we mean it, because it's the single most common way people lose a world. Your panel lets you create and download backups on demand. Make one before any big change (updating the game version, adding a large mod, a Rust wipe). Treat any backup convenience we provide as a safety net, not a guarantee.

What happens to my data if I don't renew?

If a service isn't renewed we suspend it when the paid period ends, and permanently delete its data 7 days later. Download anything you want to keep before then — after deletion it's gone, we can't recover it.

Billing & account

Do you offer refunds?

As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on distance contracts under EU law. Because servers are provisioned immediately, you're asked at checkout to confirm you want that immediate start — which means once the service is fully delivered the withdrawal right no longer applies. If something's genuinely wrong on our end, talk to us; we'd rather fix it than argue. Full detail is in our Terms.

How do I cancel?

Any time, from your account — cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for. No retention hoops, no "call to cancel." Your data stays available until the service actually ends.

Which payment methods do you take?

Payment is handled by our payment provider (iDEAL, cards and more). We never see or store your card details — they go straight to the provider.

Security & abuse

Do my game servers have DDoS protection?

Be clear on this: our website and panel sit behind Cloudflare, but dedicated game-port DDoS filtering isn't live yet — it's on our roadmap and we'll say so plainly rather than pretend otherwise. If uptime under attack is critical for you today, tell us and we'll be honest about whether we're the right host for you right now.

What am I not allowed to run?

Nothing unlawful (that includes running attacks, spam, or infringing content), and no crypto mining on a VPS. The full acceptable-use list is in our Terms. Break it and we may suspend the service — we'll explain why.
